• Our team focuses on new concepts of decentralised energy sources (renewable and fuel sources) for energy efficient interactive buildings.
• We develop optimised renewable energy components for integration into building envelope and components of building technical systems which facilitate low primary fuel consumption.
• We investigate the innovative multi-purpose energy systems providing heat, cold and electricity, such as hybrid solar collectors and advanced heat pumps, as well as efficient storage of heat and cold.
• We develop concepts of complex technical systems for efficient integration of energy sources into buildings and energy grids using intelligent control.
