prof. Ing. Jan Tywoniak, CSc.

Jan Tywoniak graduated from Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague, study branch Building Engineering. Since 2006 he serves as professor of the theory of building structures and materials with the focus on thermal performance of buildings and building components. It has been associated with the UCEEB University Center since its first draft. He works here as a head of hygrothermal laboratory. He tries to contribute to the development and promotion of new building envelope elements using building physics knowledge and sustainable development principles.
