Ing. Tereza Pavlů, Ph.D.

Tereza Pavlu graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the CTU in Prague in 2010, majoring in buildings and environment, and in 2015 defended the doctoral thesis on the topic “Use of Recycled Aggregate for Concrete”. Her thesis was focused not only on material research but also on the utilization of recycled aggregate concrete for building structures and on related environmental assessment. She has been dealing with this topic at CTU UCEEB since 2013. Together with her team, she has been examining how to use recycled materials in the building industry more efficiently. She has been cooperating with few companies dealing with selective demolition and recycling of buildings with following utilization of reclaimed materials and structural elements.
