Ing. Sofiane Kichou, Ph.D.

Sofiane Kichou received a doctorate (Ph.D) degree in March 2017 from the Electronic Engineering Department at the Polytechnical University of Catalonia (UPC). His Ph.D researches were conducted in the fields of supervision and automatic fault detection in grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems, as well as modelling and degradation analysis of different PV module technologies. Currently, he is a researcher at UCEEB, CTU in Prague, dealing with various topics related to renewable energy sources (RESs), PV applications, microgrids and smart energy flow management.
