Ing. Miroslav Urban, Ph.D.

Miroslav Urban graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2003. In 2008 he defended his dissertation thesis “Energy performance in buildings in the Czech Republic”. Since 2003 he worked in the design office as an independent designer of building services systems. From 2004 to 2008 he was employed by the Ministry for Regional Development. Since 2007, he has been working at the Department of Building Services, where he participates in general courses in subjects focused on building energy systems, leads bachelor's and master's theses, and participates in training the professional public in the field of energy performance of buildings. Since 2013 he has been working also at UCEEB, where he participates in scientific projects, leads and performs research contracts focused on energy performance of buildings and indoor environment.
