
Ing. Kristýna Čápová
Kristýna Čápová graduated in 2012 from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague in the field of Building Structures; she started her doctoral studies in the field of Structural and Transportation Engineering at the same university. Between 2011 and 2017, she worked as a structural engineer at raz23 s.r.o. Within her doctoral studies, she primarily focuses on geotechnical monitoring using fibre optic technologies. Since 2017 she has been working at the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings of CTU in Prague in the Fibre Optics Laboratory. Here she focuses mainly on the use of fibre optic sensors for structural health monitoring, both from the point of view of research and development and their real application in construction practice.
