Jiří Nováček graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2003, branch of study Building structures and constructions. From 2002 to 2009 he worked as a specialist in building physics, mainly in DEKTRADE company. Since 2007 he has been a teacher at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he focuses mainly on architectural acoustics. Since 2013 he has been a researcher at CTU UCEEB. He is a member of the standardization committee TNK8 - Acoustics.
