Ing. Hana Najmanová

Hana Najmanová is a junior researcher in fire laboratory (FireLAB) and a PhD student in the Department of Building Structures at Faculty of Civil Engineering at the CTU in Prague. Her research is focused on evacuation of people and human behaviour in fire, she deals with analysis of controlled laboratory and field evacuation experiments and with further application of experimental data in fire safety engineering. In her PhD thesis, she specialises in specific conditions of evacuation involving pre-school children aged 3-6 years. In a broader context, she is interested in advanced performance-based methods and engineering approaches in fire safety.
