Ing. Bohdan Víra, CSc.

Bohdan Víra, after graduation from the Industrial school began his studies at the Brno University of Technology, and graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in 1971, where he joined Ingstav Brno. From there he moved to the Ostrava Metallurgical Project, where he worked for 3 years, from there he went to the Research Institute of Water Management in Prague. In 1975 he joined IPS, later Skanska. Here he worked for more than 36 years as Head of Technical Development and Investment and Technical Director of the company. In his work he devoted himself to innovative technologies and new materials with practical application and conceptual work with vision. He is the author of several patents and industrial designs that have been realized. In 1994 he graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague. Since 2013 he has been working at the CTU UCEEB, where he has been trying to link the results of researchers' knowledge of science into practical use.
