doc. Ing. Petr Kuklík, CSc.

Petr Kuklik has been working at CTU as a pedagogical and researcher since 1973. He is the author of specialized books and publications on timber structures, as well as patents and utility models. He is involved in the work of technical standardization committees at national and international level and a drafter of European and Czech standards for the design of timber structures at normal temperature and fire design. 11 PhD theses were defended under his leadership. He is currently lecturing timber structures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and he is the head of the Department of Materials and Structures at UCEEB. He is a leader and co-investigator of national and international research projects. He is the chairman of the Woodworking Society of the Czech Union of Civil Engineers.
