
doc. Ing. Michal Sněhota, Ph.D.
Michal Sněhota graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, with a master’s degree in water management and Water Engineering in 1999. In 2003 he received his Ph.D. at the same department with a thesis on magnetic resonance imaging of water in soil. In 2003-2004 he has been working as a post-doc at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA on a project dealing with the transport of pesticides and hormones in soil. Since 2004 he has been working at the Department of Landscape Water Conservation as an assistant professor, later, since 2011 as an associate professor. He is affiliated with University Centre of Energy Efficient Buildings of CVUT since 2013. At UCEEB he is focused on fundamental and applied research on constructed soil systems that will support the design of more effective greening of buildings and cities.
